Welcome to the Collins Hill Orchestra Home Page
Founded in 1994 The Collins Hill Orchestra Orchestra began as a 56 piece orchestra program under the direction of Mr. John Harriman. The orchestra is currently comprised of over 180 string students dedicated and committed to the growth of string orchestra education and performances throughout the metro Atlanta community under the direction of Mr. Michael Giel. These orchestras continually receive Superior and Excellent ratings at the GMEA Festival performances. Students from these groups are represented in the All State Orchestra, Governors Honors Program, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Emory Youth Symphony, and Gwinnett County Youth Symphony.
